Thomas Jefferson's Mancave

Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence and built, pretty much on his own, Monticello, his Virginia estate. He situated his desk on the left side of his bed, and the rest of his house to the right. He could roll out of bed either way, choosing between work and pleasure--what a mancave is all about, really.

For Mancave and NPR enthusiasts: Studio 360 on Monticello.
