Henry David Thoreau's Mancave

Built near Walden pond, Henry David Thoreau's Mancave, more a seclusion cabin, is where the naturalist and thinker wrote his most famous work, Walden. Situated on land borrowed from Ralph Waldo Emerson, Thoreau spent his time in his mancave exploring simple living. In all, Thoreau spent two years, two months, and two days in his 10x15 foot shack, which he built himself.
